You Are So Much More Than Your Body
You are magical and messy.
High and low frequencies.
A gathering of grey clouds and the rainbow that bursts forth from them.
Complicated. Contradictory. Figuring it all out day by day.
Your whole life, unrealistic beauty standards and a culture of dieting have led you to believe that “healthy” looks one way and one way only.
The fitness and wellness industries have told you that if you just try harder, if you just shrink yourself a little more, you’ll finally be happy and worthy. You’ll finally fit in.
But that’s bullshit.
The truth is, working harder is meaningless if you’re working hard at things that don’t really matter. Changing your body is not a prerequisite for being happy or worthy. And you don’t need to fit in (though you do deserve to belong).
Other coaches might tell you the path to health and wellness is paved in restriction and denying what you want. That it requires weighing and measuring yourself, counting all your calories and macros, and running mile after sweaty mile on the treadmill.
What if you could skip all that and still be on your way to achieving health, happiness, and confidence on your own terms?
I believe that you can. I believe that there are much more important things to focus on than what size you are and what you ate for lunch yesterday.
Such as how you choose to treat yourself and speak to yourself. What values you live by and how those impact the people around you. How you view your body and its role in your life.
As a weight-inclusive wellness coach, I give people the tools they need to adopt an intuitive eating approach, exercise in ways that feel good to them, and respect their bodies (both the ones they have right now and any future iterations of them as they naturally change over time).
Everything you need is within you already. My job is to recognize you as you are while giving you the space, tools, and encouragement to make the changes that feel right.
