Healthy is as unique as you are
In a society that revolves around dieting, controlling our bodies, and trying to attain unrealistic beauty standards, we’re all expected to buy into the myth that “healthy” has a specific look.
But the truth is, being healthy has next to nothing to do with your body type. And the path to improving health doesn’t have to be paved in calorie counting, weighing yourself, running on the treadmill, or cutting out sugar.
Healthy for you might be the ability to recognize when rest is more important than working out or when pizza would meet your needs better than salad.
Healthy for you might be the sense of peace you feel when you’ve finally figured out how to listen to your body’s cues and respond to them with confidence.
Healthy for you might be the sigh of relief you breathe when you no longer feel the need to act according to arbitrary “should”s dictated by a discriminatory wellness culture.
Because healthy is different for everybody (and every body), my goal is to help you discover the tools, skills, and mindset shifts you’ll need to redefine health and wellness in the way that works best for you.
