This trend was too good to pass up with a coming o This trend was too good to pass up with a coming out story like mine. 🤣

Was it a long and arduous journey at times? Absolutely. 😅

But all of the pain and struggle brought me to where I am now, and I’ve never been happier - both with myself and in my romantic life. 💖

It’s never too late to step into your queerness (whether for the very first time or a new iteration of it), even if you fear your chance has passed.

Changing your life probably won’t be easy, but for me, at least, it was well worth it. 🌈

It was such a pleasure to be invited to record an It was such a pleasure to be invited to record an episode of @comingoutpod that I didn’t even mind doing it while on hiatus. 🎙

Episode 208 of Coming Out with Lauren & Nicole, featuring yours truly, is available to listen to on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.

Here’s how Lauren & Nicole described the episode:

“Shohreh Davoodi (host of the Conjuring Up Courage podcast) has had a...tumultuous couple of years, to say the least. Raised in the strict, expectation-heavy Baháʼí Faith, Shohreh was always regarded as the "black sheep of the family." But the fact that she was naturally more feminine-presenting meant that her queerness didn't ping for anybody, including herself!

Shohreh shares how her slowly-dawning awareness of her sexuality led her to the painful decision to end her marriage, but also guided her to her work as a self-trust coach for queer folks (in Shohreh's own words: "I help people come home to themselves"). We also talk about the importance of taking a break *before* your body forces you to, and Shohreh tells us the MOST lesbian first-date story we have ever heard!”
